I just purchased a box of Match"books". I love altering the Match"boxes", so now, I figure that there has to be something you could do with the "books". I will figure it all out and repost in a comment to this post.
Today is the last day to sign up for my Rolled Paper Bead Swap at Swap-Bot.com
If you enjoy swaps. You should also take a look at my events on the Network. I have listed all of the Swaps, that I've created over at Swap-Bot.com.
I have 2 groups there -
Rolling The Bead Group this is a group for those of us that love rolling our own beads.
The Craft Fairers Group - for those of us that make jewelry and want to swap our jewelry or jewelry and beading items.I am a Co-Founder at the Jazzy Jewelry & Beading Group - we just cleaned it up and are desperately seeking members for swapping our stuff.
If you are a swapper over at Swap-Bot.com, check out a network that was created just for Swap-Bot Swappers
In the pictures to the left, the first picture is that of my first try at making Inchies (1x1 square). Its entitled "Frog Wishes". I used the 1x1 square and covered it in fabric. I added embellishments, punched a hole and added a clip hanger, so instant zipper pull.
The second picture is my entries in the ATC Contest over at Gone Beadin' Network. These are entitled "I'll Fly Away - Butterflies I & II".
The third picture is a set of practice inchies to prepare for a swap that I'd signed up for. I added magnets and embellishments to make this set interesting.
The 4th picture is an altered matchbox (32ct). This is my favorite altered art form. This is one I decided not to swap. It is entitled "Sunny Flowers". It was originally started to be a part of a Matchbox Purse Swap and I loved it so much, I decided not to put the handle on and keep it. So it is one of my Keepers.
The 5th and last picture was made for a swap. A 6pc Inchies Picture Puzzle Set. Put them all together and they show this beautiful picture of a lily. Very very nice.
